Often it’s the little things that count!

Volunteers have been working away at packing for the mission. A bus will be leaving ahead of the team to meet them in Mexico, filled with medical supplies. Money donated to the Festival City Rotary Foundation for this trip will help with purchasing worm medications, antibiotics, skin creams, scabies treatment, vitamins, dental fluoride and the reading glasses.

We are also looking for things you might have around the house!

  • Sunglasses

  • Toothbrushes, for children and adults (we need a total of about 1000!)

  • Toothpaste - the small ones that are given by the Dentist work very well, so please ask your dentist to donate some.

  • Hotel soaps - we need about 1000 of these to give one per person

  • Hotel shower caps - to make up the lice treatment kits

  • Baby clothes up to 1 year, onesies, sleepers

  • Cloth diapers, safety pins, plastic pants if you can find them

  • Croc shoes of all sizes

  • Baseballs, bats, bases, gear of all kinds for all sizes of player

  • Soccer balls, basketballs, pumps

  • People’s personal unused medications including vitamins and prescriptions.

If you have supplies to donate, please stop by the Stratford Career Centre (130 Youngs St., Stratford ON) Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm and Wednesdays 8:30am-6pm. A donation box will be kept at the Career Centre for the team to pick up and send to Mexico!
