Notices and Announcements:

The Tavistock Club has invited us to join them on Monday February 27 at Quehl's Restaurant to celebrate the 100th birthday of Jim Francis. Contact details were issued by Jack West earlier today.

The Club's Annual Spaghetti Dinner fund raiser is scheduled for Monday March 26 at the Army, Navy Air Force League. All hands on deck for this one as we hope to serve 700!

The Bard's Birthday Dinner will be held on Saturday April 21, so make sure this date is in your diary. Further details and requests for participation will be forthcoming from the BBD Committee, chaired by Anna Sherwin.

Jack West provided an update on the Splash Pad Project. The festival City Club has agreed to receive donations and issue tax receipts through its Foundation. Jack West, Linda Jones, Bob shannon and Carol Rock are sitting on the Joint Committee for this community project. Anne Hathaway Park is the chosen site for the splash pad.

Congratulations to David Harvie who was presented with a Paul Harris + 2 pin by President David Moore. Thank you to David for all he is contributing to Rotary, both at the club and in the district (I heard he gave a "just excellent" presentation on the district literacy activities at a recent district meeting).

Having received his Paul Harris pin, David then ran today's program, a training session for ClubRunner.
Among points: everyone is encouraged to maintain their profiles, including providing biographies and photos; to check their commitments weekly.
All information from the Festival City Club is synchronized with District and Rotary International.
To ensure credit, please email David with information on makeups. Please contact David if you are encountering ongoing problems with log ins. Above all, USE ClubRunner! The club pays for this service, so let's make it work for us.
Ron Rogers thanked David for his efforts in setting up and maintaining the ClubRunner program.
