ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

 August 29, 2018 Stratford, ON – The Board of Directors for the Stratford Perth Community Foundation (SPCF) is pleased to announce Heidi Culliton has been selected to lead the Community Foundation which celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2019.

Ms. Culliton is a dynamic leader and community champion with an extensive background in the not-for-profit sector. Over the past 20 years, Ms. Culliton held leadership roles at the MLSE Foundation with Maple Leaf Sports + Entertainment, The Argos Foundation, Rose Cherry’s Hospice and Respite Home, and currently Ms. Culliton is the Vice President of Development and Marketing with The Sunshine Foundation of Canada, a national charitable organization headquartered in London, ON.  From 2012 to 2014 Ms. Culliton was the Executive Director of SPCF. During her tenure, Ms. Culliton advanced the organization’s fund development plan and secured a vital operational grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to resource its community investment strategy to establish six Smart & Caring Community Funds representing Stratford, St. Marys and each geographic region of Perth County. The Board of Directors and staff realized this important achievement in 2017 with close to $500,000 in endowed funds donated by generous citizens.

Ms. Culliton lives in Stratford with her family. Ms. Culliton officially joins SPCF on October 9, 2018.
